Most “my dryer is broken” calls are actually one of four things: a failed heating element (electric), a dead igniter or flame sensor (gas), a blown thermal fuse, or a vent line so clogged that the safeties keep cutting in. We diagnose all four on the first visit.
What we fix
- No heat — elements, igniters, flame sensors, high-limit thermostats, thermal fuses
- Long dry times — vent restrictions, blower wheel wear, cycling thermostats
- Noise — drum rollers, idler pulleys, belts, worn glides and felt seals
- Tumbles but won’t start — door switches, start switches, main control boards
Vent cleaning
We strongly recommend a vent cleaning if it’s been more than 18 months, especially for second-story laundries with long duct runs. It’s a fire-safety item, not just a performance item — we can do it on the same visit.
